This Thursday, Janet Matthews will be our speaker. Janet is a seasonal visitor to SSRC from her home club in Calgary, Alberta. In 2002, Janet and her husband Rick decided to take an adventure and Janet accepted a position as Faculty in the Business Department at Dubai Men's College in the United Arab Emirates. They lived and worked in Dubai for 5 years and her time there is the subject of Janet's presentation.
On Friday, February 24, 2017, SSRC Golf Tournament in support of our Special Day for Special Kids event will be held at Starfire Golf Club. The Golf committee lead by Neil Sutton have done a great job organizing the tourney, soliciting auction items and raising money for the event. Based on Neil's last report, we are well on our way to achieving our funding goal. Many thanks to everyone who has participated in this effort. I look forward to playing and bidding on items in the auction. The latest list of auction items is posted under the Golf Event tab.
