Our speaker this week is Cassandra Switalski from the Miracle League of Arizona. As most of you know, the Miracle League of AZ provides an opportunity for mentally and physically disabled children to experience the joy of participating in the team sport of baseball on a specially designed baseball field. SSRC has supported the organization over the years with contributions and participation in their fundraising activities like this year's Wiffle Ball tourney. We look forward to hosting Cassandra.
Last week Donald Clinebell, a friend of Keith Morris and a fellow Rotarian, addressed our club on his philosophy about how to live an "Extraordinary Life". Don's philosophy involves placing service to others as the foundation which binds the "Service Driven Circle" which includes Home & Family, Vocation and Neighbor. I think is fair to say that those in attendance were inspired by Don's message.
