Last week our club sponsored an appreciation lunch for the teachers of Yavapai Elementary School during their day long parent/teacher conferences. Wonderful Italian specialties from Pasta Brioni got raves from the teaching staff. Thanks to Evie and Madge for making this happen.
Our bicycle assembly project at the Paiute Neighborhood Center yesterday was a great success. We assembled 30 bicycles that will be distributed to deserving children served by the Center. Rotarians that participated included Alan Bakst, John Burgraff, Dennis and Evie Haberer, Tim Koepke, Terry Kutzbach, Fred Lipovitch, Ron Lofano, Sandon Nixon, David Ortega, Gary Sauerman, Bob Sierk, Len Teicher, and Madge and Bill Adams. Guests helping were Tom Aswad and Keith and Anne Walter. Several of us enjoyed a post-project lunch at the TapHouse Kitchen. Thanks everyone!
