Please support the Alli Ortega Empty Bowls Event by attending the pasta lunch and program this coming Wednesday, December 2, in the Student Center Cafeteria at Scottsdale Community College. Enter the campus at the first entrance off of Chaparral and proceed to Parking Lot A. The program starts at Noon. Food is served from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Scottsdale Sunrise Rotary is a community partner in this event that helps feed the hungry in Scottsdale with all proceeds going to the Vista del Camino Community Center.
Past SSRC President Lee Dueringer will preside at this week's meeting as I will be on I-10 en route to Los Angeles to attend the Kentucky / UCLA basketball game in Pauley Pavillion. Our speaker will be Kris Jacober of the Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation.
