Last week we heard from Jon Goldstein with St. Mary's Food Bank. Did you know St. Mary's was the first food bank in the country?
The best stat I heard: 95% of all donations received at St. Mary’s Food Bank directly funds our mission to help feed the hungry throughout most of Arizona!
Jon shared about the various programs, including: food distribution, children's backpack programs, the community kitchen, LIFT, and more! Learn more about St. Mary's here.
Second... New Blue Badges!
Not one, not two, but THREE new blue badges were awarded at last week's meeting! Let's welcome our new Rotarians: Casey Lockard, Dr. Deepak Sharma, and Bryce Klassen.

Our annual Officer Installation ceremony will be held on Saturday June 24th at the Boys and Girls Club Piper Branch from 4p-6p. Bring a hors d'oeuvres dish to share, beverages will be served.
We'll celebrate our fantastic 2022-2023 Rotary year and induct our officers and incoming President Lauren Dessis!

ASU Rotaract Traveling Trophy Fundraiser
The Rotaract Club of ASU is hosting the third annual Traveling Trophy Fundraiser.
This initiative raises money for the San Tan Rotary Foundation, directing 100% of proceeds to Arizona Veteran Fly Fishing (AVFF), a not-for-profit aligned with Project Phoenix Healing Waters Fly Fishing.
The purpose of AVFF is to help returned veterans recuperate from the difficulties of combat.
This fundraiser is meant to be a friendly competition between participating Rotary Clubs located in Maricopa County. The Rotary Club (Club and/or individual member donations) that donates the most between May 1st and June 30th will win the Traveling Trophy.
