Madge and I are still in New York City, having driven back to "The City" this afternoon with our granddaughter from our son and daughter-in-law's weekend escape place in upstate Monticello, NY. Yesterday morning the temp there was 48 when we got up - yes, 48 degrees Fahrenheit! It has been a wonderful escape! Interestingly, tomorrow Madge and I are having lunch with Tom Schoech and Juanita (Nita) Raymond. It will be fun seeing someone we know from home!
This week's speaker is Nick Shivka representing Teen Lifeline, an organization developed as an innovative solution to address teen suicide in the Phoenix area. Nick is Donor Relations Coordinator at Teen Lifeline.
Thanks to Past-president Dennis Haberer who led the meeting last week. Alan Bakst is back in charge this Thursday as Madge and I aren't scheduled to get to Sky Harbor until very late Wednesday night and, well, you know how it is to fly these days .....
