Greetings Sunrise Rotarians!

I hope everyone had a great Fourth of July weekend!

As you know the new Rotary year began on July 1. Our new district 5510 governor is Sherry Mischel who many of you know. Sherry lives in Scottsdale and will make her official visits to our club on September 9 (board meeting) and at our regular meeting on September 10.

Our speaker this week is outgoing Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce president Rick Kidder. After 15 years with the Chamber Rick has recently accepted the presidency of the New Bedford, Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce in his native New England.

Due to renovations to the golf club WE WILL NOT MEET on Thursday July 16. Also, the board of directors WILL NOT meet on July 8.
