On Thursday, May 28th, we had 21 members in attendance and we were joined by a couple of guests for our club's bi-weekly Zoom meeting. Our group heard from speaker Randy Everett - Senior Division Administrator, ADOT. Randy discussed the status of highways across the state, improvements being made - including the Loop 101 Pima Freeway widening project, and the impact of COVID-19 on current projects and ADOT's budget. Our members were really engaged, and it was great to learn about everything ADOT does to keep our roads safe and in great condition!
Our next virtual (Zoom) rotary meeting is scheduled this week for June 11th at 7:00am. This is our second to last meeting of this Rotary year. I will send an email out tomorrow with connection instructions. We are still working to get a speaker, but we will meet regardless. If you have an idea for a virtual speaker, please forward your suggestion to Clark (clark@cg-enterprises.com).
We will hold our final board meeting of the 2019-2020 Rotary year immediately following our club meeting this Thursday. All members are welcome to join and listen in.
