A couple of quick updates:
First... Happy 118th Birthday, Rotary!
On 23 February 1905, Paul Harris, Gustavus Loehr, Silvester Schiele, and Hiram Shorey gathered at Loehr’s office, Room 711 of the Unity Building in downtown Chicago, for what would later be known as the first ever Rotary club meeting.
"Whatever Rotary may mean to us, to the world it will be known by the results it achieves." - Paul P. Harris
118 years later, 1.4 Million people proudly call themselves Rotarians and are known all over the world as People of Action.
Second... Good Morning Great Cause was... GREAT!
What a success! The Good Morning Great Cause breakfast had an amazing turnout, the room was packed, and the energy was high!
We heard from RSK Executive Director Chris Tiffany (pictured below), Dave Lewis, and speakers Liam Tubman and Angelica Lara. A rousing and entertaining live auction was conducted by Janna Murrell and Luis Serna.
We should know the total monies raised shortly; all indications are that we have likely surpassed last year's total!
