Fellow Rotarians,
Our speaker this week was Greg Fresquez who is the communication manager for Phoenix International Raceway. Greg provided a nice overview of the features of the P.I.R., the events which it hosts and a bit about raceday activities. We appreciated the aerial views of the raceway and his invitation for us to host a Rotary Event at the raceway.
The SSRC Rotary Board will meet at 5:30 on Wednesday at Scottsdale Mustang Library, members are invited especially those who need to attend a Board meeting to qualify for their Blue Badges.
You probably received a Rotary Leader communication from Rotary International which, in part, discussed the R.I. Meeting in Atlanta in June next year. If you are planning on going, please let me know. Perhaps SSRC attendees can get together for dinner one night during the meeting. Karen and I have registered and are going. This meeting will be easy to travel to and will provide U.S. Rotarians with a view of Rotary you would not otherwise get from participating in local Rotary club activities. I will put the link to the communication on our website.

Our speaker this week is our own Dave Lewis who will share his learnings from a recent Rotary Water Summit event held recently in Phoenix.
