Rotary Ramblings - - Volume 2 - Number 5
October's been quite a month for the club with some of the best speakers we've had all year. We're also proud to welcome our new member Kathy Lane to the club!
On October 4th, Brian Biesemeyer, Executive Diretor of Scottsdale Water. I was surprised at how much I didn't know about water service in Scottsdale, not to mention at how well run and efficient they operate. October 11th, Thomesa Lydon brought her energy to the club and enlightened us about the joys of aging and dealing with aging parents. Then last week, the Sheriff of Maricopa County, Paul Penzone joined us on what was an extremely busy day as it coincided with Trump's visit to Arizona. Sheriff Penzone had us captivated for the full hour. His positivity was infectious, his pragmatism a relief, and he was very gracious for the invitation to come speak.
We're meeting this evening, October 25th at 5:30pm at McCormick Ranch Golf Club Bar forHappy Hour! Should be a great time, please join us if you can.
