First... Club Field Trip!
Our Club has been invited to tour the Boys & Girls Club Virginia Piper Branch on Thursday May 4th. This branch is in process of becoming our new Interact Club and the early relationships we forge are vital to the success of this partnership.
Please plan to join us on this tour and show the great support of SSRC.
No meeting at McCormick Ranch on May 4th. Look for more details to follow.
Second... Rotary License Plates for Arizona!
House Bill 2062 passed State Senate on Thursday with a count of 43-15. Next step is signature by Governor Hobbs. Rotary have a license plate in Arizona!
This initiative has been spearheaded by Sun Lakes Rotary and their current President, Stephen Phair. He'll be forming a committee to being the work of writing bylaws, designing the plate, and partnering with District 5500 in effort to get Arizonans supporting Rotary by getting the new plate.

Third... Rotary Week of Service
A group of SSRC folks, including our friend Scott Sherman, packed 70 boxes of food at Vista del Camino on Thursday morning. Thanks to these volunteers, Vista will be able to feed 5 more families per day for an entire month!
