A couple of quick updates:

 

Our speaker last week was Don Henninger, representing the Arizona Democracy Resilience Network. This is a bi-partisan initiative of the Carter Center aimed at curbing the risk of election violence, which begins with the candidates and carries through to influential community leaders.

 

Don shared that Maricopa County is #1 in the country at risk for political violence. Learn more about the initiative here. 

 

 

The Club Board has committed to sending up to 5 Club members to Club Leadership Academy - 4 have registered so far. CLA will be held Saturday 3/25; there is still one more seat available.

 

Also, the Club Board has committed to sending up to 10 Club members to District 5495 Conference! This is a great opportunity to learn more about Rotary initiatives across the state and network with fellow Rotarians.

 

The conference kicks off Thursday May 4th with a happy hour reception and wraps up Saturday evening May 6th. Be sure to hang around Friday night for the hospitality suites!
