This week our speaker is Doug Nick from the Arizona Department of Transportation.
As we look forward to the SDSK event on Saturday March 18, I am excited to see the looks on the faces of the kids, siblings and parents as they enter the McCormick Train Park and enjoy the day and the activities. I am also looking forward to meeting with all of our partners including the Saguaro and Notre Dame Prep Interact clubs, local boy scout and girl scout troups, and other organizations which support all the kids who will be there and the SSRC members and other volunteers who will be there. Many thanks to the hours of meetings and phone calls and preparations for the event which the committee led by Evie Haberer, have undertaken to put on the event. Next week, our SSRC meeting will be held at the train park.
