NO THURSDAY MORNING MEETING THIS WEEK!! Sleep in and save up your energy for Friday's golf tournament. Tee times are set for 12:30 with lunch before and the putting contest at 11:00. We have almost 70 golfers signed up and it should be a wonderful and fun afternoon for a great cause, Special Day for Special Kids.
PLEASE invite your spouse / significant other to join with the club as we celebrate the successful conclusion of our golf tournament at 5:00pm. We will have a taco bar, Starfire's world class guacamole, and a selection of other delicious munchies for all to enjoy. This will be your LAST CHANCE TO BID ON SILENT AUCTION ITEMS!!!
Last Thursday morning our club's board of directors voted unanimously to oppose the proposed merger of Rotary districts 5510 (us) and 5490 (essentially the western third of AZ except the Yuma area). There will be more information forthcoming.
