On Thursday, February 4th, we had 24 participants for our club’s bi-monthly Zoom meeting. We welcomed Elizabeth Mahoney, our District 5495 Governor, as our speaker. Elizabeth discussed this year’s theme “Rotary Opens Opportunities” and showed how this has been achieved by Rotarians. She emphasized the Crutches 4 Africa project as well as a ground water project in Kenya. She also highlighted our own club's actions this year and congratulated us for our accomplishments! Our members also shared how Rotary not only opened up opportunities for others, but also themselves and how it shaped their paths in life. Great turnout and we showed how amazing our club is!

Mexico-USA Friendship Conference:
The conference kicked off this morning with over 120 people online! The conference will continue tomorrow and Sunday. Please reference my previous email and/or the February District newsletter for connection instructions. Feel free to join in and watch.
