A couple of quick updates:
First... Speaker recap
Our speaker last week was Andy Wheeler, Plastics Engineer. He busted common myths about plastic, compared plastics to glass, and discussed the many applications in which plastics have become part of our everyday lives. A very interesting presentation!
Second... District Conference
The Club Board has committed to sending up to 10 Club members to District 5495 Conference! This is a great opportunity to learn more about Rotary initiatives across the state and network with fellow Rotarians.
The conference kicks off Thursday May 4th with a happy hour reception and wraps up Saturday evening May 6th. Be sure to hang around Friday night for the hospitality suites!
There are two more seats available on a first come-first served basis. If you are interested, please contact me for more details.

Third... Good Morning Great Cause final numbers!
The final numbers are in and all expenses have been paid. Our GMGC Breakfast raised a net of almost $42,000! Janna Murrell from Raising Special Kids stopped by to present a check to our Club in the amount of $20,905!
