Hello everyone!

I have a couple of quick updates to share:

First...
We have service projects coming up this month for Adopt-A-Family on Thursday 11/17, and next month we are back to building bikes on Saturday 12/10 at the Granite Reef Senior Center! Be sure to mark your calendars and plan to join us for Rotary fun in action!

Next...
Our golf tournament is just one month out and we need your help!

You can register your foursome and invite others in your network to come play golf with us on December 1st. See more details below!

Then...
We are working grow our social media presence and are forming a committee with Ivy Borges spearheading the effort. She is collecting ideas for content; you can help! Have ideas for content that should be on our social media? Did you take a photo at a recent Rotary event that you'd like to share? Help Luis!
Our friend Luis Serna is raising money for a class field trip to Washington, D.C. Many of us will remember Luis as one of the speakers at both of our past Good Morning, Great Cause fundraiser breakfasts.

He's asked if his friends from Scottsdale Sunrise Rotary can help him get over the finish line.

As I type this, he has almost reached his goal. If you can help Luis, click the link below.
Speaker recap
In last week's meeting we heard from Jenna Bentley, Director of Government Affairs at the Goldwater Institute. She spoke about two initiatives, Right to Try and Right to Earn a Living. The former seeks to make it easier for people with critical diseases to get access to a wider range of potentially life-saving treatments, while the latter seeks to make it easier for professionals in good-standing who are moving to AZ to transfer or reciprocate their licenses and get back to work.

At this week's meeting we will hear from Alexandra Arboleda from the Central Arizona Project. One thing we can all agree on is the importance of water stewardship. Come join us for breakfast and an update on CAP water initiatives.

We're looking for future Rotarians. Give the gift of Rotary!

Invite a friend, or call a Club member we haven't seen in a while. We're always looking for great people to join us in making a difference in our beautiful city.

Yours in Rotary,
