A couple of quick updates:
First... Speaker recap:
Our speakers last week included Christian Sanft and Jessica Woelbel from the Piper Branch Boys and Girls Club, as well as Tara, one of their high school members. Not only did they provide a great presentation, but there were two other surprises:
- Christian volunteered at SDSK as a teenager
- They made a proposal to become our new Interact Club!
We will be working on securing their Interact status over the next couple weeks and look forward to welcoming them as an extension of Scottsdale Sunrise Rotary!
Second... Club Assembly/Final Prep meeting this Thursday 2/23:
Please join us on Thursday Feb 23rd for our final prep meeting for both Good Morning Great Cause and Special Day for Special Kids. We will have a buffet style breakfast.
Then.... Good Morning Great Cause is this Saturday morning!
That's right... the day is almost here. It's our biggest fundraiser of the year and all proceeds are split between our Club and Raising Special Kids. Our portion funds the annual Special Day for Special Kids event and other special needs related projects throughout the year.
More details will be shared at this week's meeting!
