Last Thursday, we held Scottsdale Sunrise Rotary's first ever virtual meeting! We had 23 people in attendance and heard from speaker Shari Storm. Shari discussed some of the leadership skills that she developed as a parent and how she applies those in the workforce to become a more engaging leader. The meeting went pretty smoothly for our first attempt at Zoom. We even had virtual happy bucks! It was great to see so many friends and finally get to catch up with everyone!

 

Our next virtual (Zoom) rotary meeting is scheduled for April 30th at 7:00am. I will send an email out next week with connection instructions. We are still working to get a speaker, but we will meet regardless. If you have an idea for a virtual speaker, please forward your suggestion to Clark (clark@cg-enterprises.com). 

 

I am planning to have a brief board meeting immediately following next week's Rotary meeting. We will review guidance from our Governor, the CDC, and Rotary International in effort to develop a plan and goals for the remainder of this Rotary calendar year.

Finally, since the bulk of our membership dues are related to the cost of our on-site meetings at McCormick Ranch Golf Club, we have decided to temporarily suspend dues until we resume on-site meetings.
