First, I want to thank David Ortega for running the meeting in my absence last Thursday. I am sorry I missed Ms. Arizona. I am sure she did a great job discussing her platform of anti-bullying and the other activities she is participating in as Ms. Arizona.
On Thursday, we will be inducting Craig Rethwill into Scottsdale Sunrise Rotary. It is always exciting for the club to induct a new member as they are the lifeblood of our organization and of Rotary. You will hear about Craig's background during the ceremony and I invite all club members over the next several months to introduce yourselves to Craig and share a conversation with him at breakfast.
Our speaker this week is Mischa Aurota who is a member of the ASU Rotaract club. Mischa will be sharing what happened at the Big West Conference and other activities which ASU Rotaract is involved with.
On another note, please remember to bring your 2 bottles of wine (no more the $20/bottle) for the auction at the Golf Tournament.
Finally, a special Rotarian will be visiting us on Thursday morning. It is someone who I have know for 38 years. That is all I am giving away for now but come to the meeting and you will learn more!
